My New Blog

    Last week I showed property to a delightful couple from Minnesota who have pretty much decided to move to St. George.  As I got to know them, a list of reasons for living in our fair area emerged:

1. The Climate/Weather -High desert climate; no snow to shovel, sunshine!
2. Lots of Recreation-including, hiking, 4 wheeling,fishing, boating, and plenty of golf courses.
3. Excellent Healthcare Facilities (Cardiac unit, orthopedists, specialists etc.)
4. Affordablity of Housing- With the current market, St. George has again become affordable.

6. It's Breathtaking Beauty! - The red rock formations are all around us; not to mention real mountains in view along with State and National Parks just next door.
7. Cultural Opportunities - A local symphony, plays, art, a college, concerts etc.
8. Very Little Pollution - Along with the over 300 plus days a year that the sun shines; you can actually see all the beauty because we are not laden with dirty polluted air. 
9. Vibrant Community- We have only lived in St. George for a little over ten years, but we have been coming here for a lot longer than that.  One thing that has never failed to impress is the constant improvement and additions to the area.  You don't drive through areas and see boarded-up store fronts or detiorating buildings ready to fall down.  Instead you see constant growth and building and new city parks and facilities.
